St John the Evangelist Church, Ballinteer Avenue , Dublin 16, is located between the Applegreen Service Station and Superquinn Shopping Centre and it is approximately 1/2 mile from the main entrance to the beautiful Marlay Park.
The Church was solemly blessed and opened by Most Reverend Dermot Ryan,
Archbishop of Dublin, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (8th December)
1973. The Parish Priest is Fr. Richard Behan, Moderator.
There are over 3,500 homes in the parish and we are fortunate
in that we have an excellent community spirit.
