Fr Richard's Thanksgiving Mass & Reception

Fr. Richard's Thanksgiving Mass
Fr Richard Behan, P.P., Moderator.

Fr Richard celebrated his thanksgiving mass on Saturday 19th September 2015 at 6pm.

Fr Richard was warmly welcomed by the large congregation at mass and he was very appreciative of it.

It was wonderful to see & hear the beautiful sound of all the church choirs in attendance on the night.

During his homily he thanked everyone and spoke of his time in Ballinteer as one of the highlights of his ministry.

The mass was followed by a reception in the School Hall where there was large attendance.

In Christian Art the Eagle was chosen to represent St. John the Evangelist & when Fr. Richard came to
us in 2006 he took a liking to the Eagle on the wall at the back of the Church and he has used it as
the Church Logo ever since & it‘s also used on the Church headed paper.
